CICLO technology is a sustainable textile additive that is mixed with polyester and other synthetic materials at the initial stage of the fibre manufacturing process. This results in countless biodegradable "dots" in the matrix of the plastic. These enable microbes to degrade the materials in the same way as they degrade natural fibres. Because "Made to last" should not mean "Here forever". Therefore, CICLO synthetic fibres are designed to behave almost like natural fibres when they are released into the environment or disposed of. Products made with CICLO fibres reduce the persistence of plastic microfibres in our oceans and the accumulation of plastic in landfills.
